This is officially my first blogpost for 2017! I know I've been resting for so long during the holidays and really just feel like doing nothing. I actually still have a lot of backlogs to do but I just wanted to relax. I really want to be back in action and do one of my goals to work harder this year. I want to try my best to make this year just full of positive vibes but there are still a lot of times when negative thoughts bothers me. I have to keep focusing on positive things and give the reason why I started this blog, mainly to inspire people and I'm happy that a lot of you are inspired when I travelled alone in Singapore and Malaysia and heard that you did the same. I am planning to travel more often this year and hopefully I can have the courage to do that experience all over again.
But first, I need to gather the strength I should have acquired a long time ago. I need the guts to finally undergo a surgery for my Nasal Polyps.
Nasal Polyps? it looks like a pearly grape that blocks the nasal passages. Both of my nose is already affected. I had it eight years ago when I was still residing in Florida. This is mainly because of my allergy to pollen. It was an allergic rhinitis that I didn't do anything to get treated. I already lost my sense of smell and I'm having a hard time breathing through my nose. I also speak in a muffled way and been experiencing a lot of headache. In addition to that, I always have stuffy nose. I don't know why I let myself suffer for too long and let my fear get the best of me. My nasal polyps have become so large that corticosteroid nasal sprays won't work anymore. Hopefully this surgery will make me feel better and renewed.
I would like to thank Sir Chief and my Mom for convincing me to finally do this surgery and for shouldering my medical expenses. I am already scheduled on January 26, 2017 and I probably need to rest afterwards so this is to inform everyone to expect delays on replying to emails, messages and deadlines but nevertheless, I will try my best to get back to you the soonest! I will update you about my surgery experience afterwards to also give an idea for people who also has nasal polyp and planning to get surgery. Please include me in your prayers so that I can have a successful and painless surgery.
Do you or know someone who also suffers from nasal polyp? Let me know your story on the comment section below. I could use some words of encouragement right now.
